Keto Recipe Inspiration for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Following a ketogenic meal plan means that much of your diet will consist of healthy oils, fats, nuts and seeds, along with some clean protein. Kickstart your body into ketosis by using Garden of Life’s Dr. Formulated Keto Fit every day for the first week.

Keto Breakfast Ideas

Keto Fit Shake

 

Ingredients:

 

 

Method:

 

  • Add all of the ingredients to a blender and enjoy!

Avocado & Spinach Omelette

Ingredients:

 

  • 2-3 whole eggs
  • 450g spinach
  • Whole avocado
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional: Sea salt, extra virgin olive oil, walnuts

 

Method:

 

  • Heat the pan and add the coconut oil
  • Sauté the spinach until wilted
  • Crack 2/3 whole eggs on top of the spinach
  • Cover the pan and turn the heat down to low.
  • Cook the eggs until the yolks are firm
  • Slide omelette onto a plate
  • Add sliced avocado to one side of the omelette
  • Fold the omelette to hold avocado inside
  • Drizzle extra virgin oil on top with a sprinkle of salt

Keto Lunch Inspiration

Tuna Wrap

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 can tuna
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil mayonnaise
  • 1-2 Tablespoons pine nut or sunflowers
  • 2-3 large romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Garden of Life MCT Powder
  • Sea salt & black pepper

 

Method:

 

  • Mix the tuna, avocado mayonnaise, black pepper and sea salt in bowl
  • Scoop tuna salad into the romaine lettuce wraps
  • Top with nuts or sunflower seeds

Green Machine Protein Bowl:

Ingredients:

 

  • 225g greens: arugula, spinach, lettuce
  • 100g of veggies of choice: bell peppers, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes
  • 1 whole avocado
  • 5-10 pecans
  • 1-3 hard-boiled eggs
  • 100g cooked salmon
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt

 

Method:

 

  • In a large bowl, add the greens, top with your chosen veggies, the sliced avocado and a handful of pecans
  • Add the salmon and 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • Drizzle the bowl with olive oil and a pinch of sea salt

Keto Dinner Inspiration

 

Keto Protein Pie

Ingredients:

 

  • 3-4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons almond flour
  • 450g spinach
  • 5-10 pecan nuts
  • 55g goat cheese
  • 20g fresh basil
  • 40g red onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

 

Method:

 

  • Heat the coconut oil in a sauté pan and lightly cook the diced garlic and onion
  • Add the spinach, cover the pan and wilt on a low-medium heat
  • Crack 3-4 eggs into the pan over the spinach and stir until evenly mixed
  • Add the flour and stir evenly until a cake-like batter texture is achieved
  • Cover the pan and cook on a low-medium heat until the eggs are firm throughout
  • Add crumbled goat cheese on top and cover until melted
  • Use a spatula to remove the pie from pan and place onto a plate
  • Add finely chopped pecans on top with freshly diced basil for a delicious finish

Plant-based keto burger

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 large portobello mushroom
  • 40g sliced red onion
  • 2-3 garlic cloves
  • 1 whole avocado
  • 70g Pine nuts
  • 4 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-4 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 teaspoon
  • Water

 

Method:

 

  • In a pan, sauté the diced portobello mushroom, red onions, and garlic in coconut oil until well cooked
  • In a food processor, mince the pine nuts with the olive oil and pinch of sea salt to create the pine nut cheese. Add a splash of water if needed and set aside
  • Lay the lettuce boats on a plate
  • Layer with the sauteéd portobello burger mix and add scoops of your pine nut cheese on top
  • Finish with sliced avocado, sea salt and olive oil drizzled on top of your avocado
